Terms of Service
Effective September 25, 2026
1. Who we are
OM1 (“OM1”, “we”, “us”) is a job-search service operated by Hema Kumar, an individual based in Texas, USA. These Terms are an agreement between you and Hema Kumar. Questions? Email padamatihemakumar6@outlook.com.
By creating an account or using OM1, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use OM1.
2. What OM1 does, and doesn’t do
OM1 helps you find and apply for jobs. It collects job postings from public sources, scores them against your profile and resume, prepares tools like cover letter drafts and interview questions, and helps you track your applications.
- OM1 is not an employer, recruiter, or staffing agency, and we don’t represent any employer.
- OM1 never submits job applications for you. You always apply yourself, on the employer’s own website.
- “Review first” and “Auto apply” only prepare a list of jobs that meet your settings. You decide whether to apply to each one.
- Match, Qualification Fit, ATS scores, salary estimates, and freshness labels are automated estimates to guide you. They are not guarantees of an interview, an offer, or an employer’s decision.
- Work authorization and sponsorship details are read from the posting’s text and may be incomplete. Always confirm with the employer.
3. Job listings come from third parties
Job postings come from employers and public job sources (for example company career pages and job boards). We link to the original posting and don’t control its content, accuracy, or availability. Jobs may be filled, changed, or removed at any time.
Be careful with any listing that asks you to pay money, share bank details before an interview, or communicate only through chat apps. If a listing looks suspicious, don’t proceed, and tell us at padamatihemakumar6@outlook.com.
4. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to use OM1.
- Give accurate information and keep your password private. You’re responsible for activity on your account.
- One person per account. Accounts can’t be shared, sold, or transferred.
- Tell us right away at padamatihemakumar6@outlook.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.
5. Pricing, and billing if paid plans are added
Right now, every OM1 feature is free for every account, and there is nothing to buy. We may introduce optional paid plans later; if we do, we’ll announce them in advance, you’ll never be moved to a paid plan without choosing one, and the terms below will apply to them.
When paid plans are available, their prices and features will be shown on the Plan & billing page, in US dollars. Applicable sales tax may be added where required.
- Free trial: new paid subscriptions start with a 7-day free trial. You won’t be charged if you cancel before the trial ends. If you don’t cancel, your plan starts automatically and you’ll be charged on the day the trial ends.
- Automatic renewal: paid plans renew automatically every month or year (whichever you chose) and are charged to your payment method until you cancel.
- Cancel anytime: go to Plan & billing → Manage billing. Cancelling stops all future charges. You keep your paid features until the end of the period you already paid for, then move to the Free plan. Your saved jobs and applications stay in your account.
- Changing plans: you can switch between Pro and OM1 Max from Manage billing. Our payment processor adjusts the price for the rest of your billing period.
- Price changes: if we change a price, we’ll email you at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal. You can cancel before then.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
6. Refunds
We want this to be simple and fair:
- First charge: if you’re unhappy, email padamatihemakumar6@outlook.com within 7 days of your first paid charge (the one right after your free trial) and we’ll refund it in full.
- Mistakes: duplicate charges or charges made in error are always refunded.
- Otherwise, payments aren’t refundable, including for partly used months or years, but you can cancel at any time to stop future charges.
- Approved refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days.
7. Advertising
Free use of OM1 may be supported by advertising in the future. We don’t show ads today. Before we start, we’ll update our Privacy Policy to explain exactly how ads work and what choices you have. If paid plans are added, they’ll be ad-free.
8. Your content
Your resume, profile, answers, and other information you add (“your content”) belong to you. You give us permission to store, copy, and process your content only to run OM1 for you, for example to score jobs, show your dashboard, and let you download your resume. We don’t sell your content and we don’t send your resume to employers.
You’re responsible for the accuracy of your content. Don’t upload anything you don’t have the right to share.
9. Acceptable use
Please don’t:
- break the law or help anyone else do so, or use OM1 to mislead employers;
- access other people’s accounts or data, or try to get around our security;
- copy, scrape, resell, or republish OM1’s job data or features, or access OM1 with bots or automated tools;
- overload, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service;
- upload malware or harmful, hateful, or illegal content.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
10. Ending your account
You can stop using OM1 at any time. To delete your account and data, email padamatihemakumar6@outlook.com from the email address on your account. Cancel any paid plan first (deleting data doesn’t cancel billing by itself).
We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if we must for legal or security reasons. If we end a paid plan without cause, we’ll refund the unused part of your current billing period.
11. Changes to OM1 and to these Terms
OM1 will keep improving, so features may change. We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we’ll email you or show a notice in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use OM1 after that means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Disclaimers
We work hard to keep OM1 accurate and available, but it’s provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we don’t promise that OM1 will be uninterrupted or error-free, that listings are accurate or still open, or that using OM1 will lead to a job.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, wages, or opportunities. Our total liability for any claim relating to OM1 is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) US $50. Some laws don’t allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
14. Disputes and governing law
If something goes wrong, please email padamatihemakumar6@outlook.com first. Most problems can be solved quickly, and we’ll try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and applicable US federal law. Any dispute that we can’t resolve informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and both of us agree to those courts’ jurisdiction. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be waived.
